My name is Helen Skene. I am a City and Guilds qualified hairdresser from the London Institute where I also achieved City of Guilds' qualifications in cosmetic make-up and manicure. I have a General Certificate of Hairdressing, a Certificate of Best Start Business Programme and have gained certificates from the Royal Institute of Public Health and Hygiene and St John Ambulance (Moving and Handling Principles). I am the EADT Suffolk Magazine health correspondent and am based in Ipswich, Suffolk.

I have a fast-growing network of clients located in Ipswich, Suffolk, and serve the surrounding towns and villages such as Kesgrave, Woodbridge, Bramford, Sproughton, Martlesham, Martlesham Heath, Claydon, Great Blakenham, Little Blakenham, Copdock, Belstead, Whersted, Nacton, Bucklesham, Playford and Tuddenham.
